I can't seem to find it, I swear I read the 250:1, and the 150:1 in both books.

Iv'e posted this in another thread, this is from "How to Modify your Rx7".

The last one is from the RB catalog, They say 3.5oz. to 5gals., thats 183:1, for racing vehicles.

premix in a gsl-se

Ok, been reading the searches, and I have a couple of questions.
I have an '85 gsl-se.
Is removing the OMP, and premixing recomended or advised on these models?
I am curious, because I don't want to lose a motor due to a bad pump, and premixing sounds pretty foolproof.
I drive this car everyday in the summer.
MMO= Marvel Mystery Oil, right?
I also noted on my car, there are 4 oil injection lines.
Any info would be appreciated!

Wow that is a bit oil rich don't you think?

Hey Ranger, what at in MI are you? Premixing on the -SE models is a good thing too. The only thing that isn't foolproof about the method is you need to remember to do it each time you fill up so always have a bottle of 2cycle on you. I just throw a couple of bottles in one of the storage bins along with a funnel. I haven't used MMO for premixing but I hear it is good to use too. I just use whatever brand of TC3W I can get my hands on, non-synthetic. Been mixing 128:1 and found the car runs best (at least to me) around that spot. Never had any problems with spark plugs fouling, but I definitely wouldn't go any richer than that. Also, the only time you really have to watch your premixing is when you have a turbo since premixing with non-synthetic will lower your octane.
