Pre-mix and Catalysts

How fast does the catalyst get clogged up when running pre-mix at 100:1?

Shouldn't clog at all.

Well, I figured that 100:1 would suffice, since my OMP is still working.

Oh wow. 100:1 is extreme overkill if your OMP is working, and a little too much if the OMP is disabled.

If your OMP is still functioning, I say don't bother, or if you must then put in something low like 400:1.

If you disable your OMP then something in the neighborhood of 120-150:1 is what you want.

100:1, plus functional OMP, would make your car just visibly smoke, and plug fouling would get rather annoying.

Okay peejay maybe I'll switch it up a bit. I like my apex seals nicely lubed.

If you go too much then you'll risk damaging them due to carbon causing them to stick in their grooves.
