Power Steering Removal

Ok ... this bolt will not budge.. The one that used to be above it was a pain.. Many times the wrench has slipped off and stripped it more and more..
I finally found a 14mm closed wrench end so it wouldnt slip but now it has started to slip and the bolt will not move!! How many more bolts are left to remove the PS?

and i dont a have drill tap kit..

well you could try hammering a 13mm sock on there. also dont forget about the front bolts. you must remove the pulley to reach.

I would try to but there is no room for a hammer cause of the stupid fluid resivor.

you HAVE to remove the fluid reservoir in order to get to a bolt that attaches the bracket to the block. four 10 or 12mm, two on top and two on bottom.

Do not remove the fluid reservoir, unless you want leaks. Remove the pulley from the front of the ps unit, there are 3 bolts behind the pulley that hold the unit to the bracket. Once those 3 bolts are out you can drop the ps unit down and have enough room to remove the bracket.
