i got jacobs wires from rx7.com, they made quite a difference over my old(new looking) wires. my car idled like 100 or 150 rpm faster and revved much better. i think they arent too bad on the old wallet either.

Just get the biggest diameter you can find that have brass terminals, not the cheap aluminum ones. Might I not recommend Moroso - I was very disappointed with mine.

I use the moroso universal spiral wound kit and I am very happy with it. I do however suggest if you make your own wires to invest in the tool.

Nope. I have an Accel kit.

Im gonna be making new ones though soon because when I finally get around to finishing the direct fire setup, I need a 3rd coil wire, so I figure that Ill just buy all MSD wires, terminals, boot ends, etc and make new ones. If I cant afford that, I might just buy a universal coil wire from Accel and use that for a while too. I havent really decided. I came up with a price list of $51 at Summit Racing for MSD stuff including the tool to make all the wires needed for direct fire .

LOL, I knew that would get you going TJ

$51? I paid that much for just the tool! Worth every penny though. And remember, dont use solid core wires with an MSD.

Why not?
Will the "Ferro-spiral" Accel wires work?

According to MSD, solid core wires emit too much interference. Use spirial wound wires, low resistance and low EMI.

Yeah, I heard awhile ago that the solid cores were bad also...
