I am doing a 13BTII swap into my 80 SA. I know I will have to move my shifter back 3"-4" , I am just wondering what others have done with the console after doing this? Any pics would be awesome. Thanks guys.
it's my understandingthat you can swap the tail section from your 12a tranny to the t2 tranny and it'll fit in the normal location... but don't quote me on it..verify that with one of the more experienced guys
NA and TII tranny tail housings do not interchange, and the SA tranny is a bit different than the FB/FC NAs. Doc just this past week did a short write up on the options on swaping in a non-SA tranny.

His concern/question is what needs to be done differently in the SA body when mounting the TII tranny. I guess he didn't find your thread about tranny swaps you posted recently doc.
