I always liked the look... just wanted to see if anyone had done it, or done different kinds on Fb's.

 

I did it on my SA just before I sold it, but I've lost most of my pictures due to a webspace change. It's a really good look for the early SA models, especially if combined with ZX-style flares and a friggin' huge ducktail spoiler.

 

they're cool until you want to work on the engine... then they're just in the way

 

When I get home I will do some searching and post some pics for you. I have seen it many times both in person and in photos. It looks good but they are right in the middle of the fender where its most comfortable to do engine bay work. If you do this mod you may end up having to remove them to do much in the bay.

 

ok so after about 2 minutes after i searched on google i found 3 threads here in the first gen section with pics, and even a how to about fender mirrors. according to google images there are quite a few pics of them here on the forums as well. just search the first gen section and you should find everything you need.
