Thumbs up Passed Emissions!

Well, it was the day all RX7 owners dread, emissions day. I did what everyone else is supposed to: ran the tank down, put in a few gallons of premium (I usually pre mix, so had to get most of it out) and hit the highway for a good 1/2 hour sprited drive.

Here are the results

HC Limit 385 Test 48

CO Limit 1.23 Test .31

NOx Limit 2692 Test 212

I hit almost the same numbers 2 years ago, she seems to be running real nice.
Oh, I have a Racing Beat muffler and Bonez Cat. I did an oil change about a month ago and did new plugs.

Next Test 2008!!!!!!!!!!!! Then she will be 25 years old and no more testing!

hell yeah!

I love how the DMV doesn't care about old cars. When I got mine registered, I didn't have a title or anything, just a bill of sale, and they didn't even inspect it. Sweet! I would never pass anyway.

You will have to pass emissions if you want to register it. They do not do any form of physical inspection in CT, just the emissions. Still have to wait until it hits 25 years before all hell can break loose.

Man I love small towns... lol no emmissions tests what so ever here . which is good cause my car is straight pipe right up to a Dynomax Bullet muffler. we like em loud here in the north :P lol its louder than most striaght piped trucks.

The CT test is easy... My old T2 passed it barely running (we had to push start it in the test tunnel) and with my nasty, clogged exhaust. Unless you're belching black smoke, you can pass in CT.
