Origional factory graphics?

How rare are these, who else has them, what is their story (come with package, model variation, etc...)

i test drove a silver 85 gslse that had those same graphics a couple years ago. if they were not a factory option than they were a dealer option i would guess. the ones i saw looked original, like they had always been on the car.

i do know that there were a few add on striping packages available at teh dealer and this very well could be one of them. my 80 LS has a striping package that wraps onto the upper part of the door and onto the b pillar. it looks odd to me but its original so its left untouched. here are a couple pics of the striping(best i could find that i'd taken of the stripes on my car) :

Thats odd, because the typical version of that stripe continues along the shoulder of the car and wraps around on the back below the hatch and is one continuos stripe to the other side in front. I guess anythings possible.

Hey, nice original Bridgestone on the spare. Did you get that new from one of those places that reproduces collector car tires or is that original ? If its original it looks great.

its original. unfortunatly it no longer holds air. its not dry rotten, it just refuses to hold the air in. i thought the striping pattern was unusual on my leather sport, but like you said, anything is possible. the paint is original so i know it wasnt something that the original owner put on after a repaint. im the second owner and i have most recipts.
