OMP line question

Would it be possible to adapt the OMP to use braided lines and AN fittings? I know some people will say "Anything is possible", but would this be a fairly easy retrofit? I'm tied of leaking lines. I've replaced the ones on my 13B several times.

AN fittings would need to be tapped. Not a direction I would care to go. In one of my boxes is a collection of used mop lines, have at it.

the later cars with banjo style fittings have had kits made, but it seems like the cost is a lot more than just two new lines, AND routing AN line is also a hassle, since it will cut thru stuff it touches.

personally i don't like looking at AN line either...

In the past I have seen a few companies selling
steel omp lines. Rmember them around but dont remember
who sold them or how good they worked.

Do they even sell AN line that small? OMP internal diameter is tiny, to keep the total volume low so they fill quickly if/when they bleed down.

what type of lines r u using as replacements? u need hoses with a small enough diameter so they fit snugly on the barbs of the omp.

Right now I'm using used ones from a first gen RX-7. I see Summit has 3/16 o.d. solid Stainless steel tubing. Do you think that would work? I know I would have to adapt the OMP and carb to take the fittings.

3/16" is brake line size. I think the stock ones are clear simply to see that oil is still being feed to the engine. Only problem I see with that is how to mate the steel braided line and barbs, unless the id of the hose is small enough for a tight fit.
