Oil on top of Engine... Any Advice?

I have a few oil leaks and I would like to know from ya where could it be coming from and how can I go by fixing this problem.

*Oil is sitting in top of the engine but it dosen't look like is being sprayed from somewhere to the hood. The hood Looks clean beside that top of the engine where the oil like to sit there.*

*Now here you can see some oil leak that could be coming out from one of the watchers from the oil line but not sure since I know nothing about this kind of stuff.*

*Now here you can see a very slow oil leak that I was told it happens on this kind of cars. However, it sucks because the oil gets into the Headers and it burns. Smelly*

*Here is a closer Picture of the above picture from that slow leak.*

*Picture of my Engine Bay*

*Some Rust on the area I have circle and might need to get that clear up sometime.*

Thanks for any Advice!

P.S. Damn Pictures didn't show up, fixing the links.

The oil on top is from a leaking rotor housing seal. The only fix is a rebuild but if you can live with it I would worry to much over it. Actually, Now would be a good time to rebuild since it still runs because you might be able to ge away with just replacing the soft seals which are considerably cheaper than doing a full seal kit. Also, Don't forget to port your motor while it is open.

If your tight on money you might be able to get away with some type of oil additive that might stop the leak for you.

well picture one looks like dowel pin leak as mentioned.

Picture 2 looks like a bad connection with one of the line going to your air to oil cooler under the radiator. This may be from a bad line or a bad crush washer or something...

Picture 3 looks like it could be coming from the OMP pump or lines which are the clear lines that go to your carburatoer...

I've had real good luck holding off the dowel pin leak for the last 50,000 miles and three years by adding an engine oil stop leak product (Bardohl works good) with each oil change and using Castrol 20-50W oil, it took a leak that looked like yours (about a quart every 2000 miles) and reduced it to the point where I wasn't having to add any oil between changes. I've got a real nice running 12A that doesn't really need an engine overall otherwise, so this has saved a lot of money and given me a bunch of "free" miles. Also this treatment has reduced the puff of smoke on cold start ups to essentially nothing.

For the rust, just take the shrouds off, sand em down real quick and respray them with a good gloss black (or choice of color) paint. It makes a world of difference in appearance.

It's the No Smoke plus Stop Leak, the one in the lower right hand corner on the website you posted:

Let us know if it works!
