Oil cooler question

I got a guy with a parts car (2nd gen) with a good oil/air cooler. Can you take the lines & stuff off it and install it on my 95 w/ old style cooler? If not, what specifically will I need to bring to him for this to work (hopefully in one trip to his house). I assume some of you guys have done this.
Thanks again for all your great assistance!

You need an oil filter pedestal off an air/oil cooler engine as well.

Yeah, I bent two 3'' pieces of flat bar into an L and drilled 3 holes each. Fit really well. I had to drill a hole in the radiator support, for the upper line to pass through.

What about the 2nd gentration oil lines, will they bolt up to where the water/oil cooler was, or do I need new lines/fittings. If so, got sizes in mind? Thanks.

The 2nd gen (or pre 83) oil filter pedestal deletes the water/oil cooler. The front oil line goes on fine. The rear housing has a plug (since the water/oil cooler returns its oil a different way) instead of a banjo bolt. Take a banjo bolt and crush washers off the water/oil cooler and use it where the plug in the rear housing is, for the second gen line.
