Cool Oil Cooler Line Stuff Ordered

Ok guys, I used my Christmas money to order the stuff Im gonna need for my oil cooler lines...FINALLY!! Im stoked. It should all be here the middle of this coming week. I ordered some stuff from both MazdaTrix and Summit Racing.

From MazdaTrix:

(3) 16mm x 1.5mm to -10 AN adapters
(3) 16mm sealing washers
(1) 18mm x 1.5mm to -10 AN adapter
(1) 18mm sealing washer
(2) O rings for the 79 filter neck

From Summit Racing:

(4) Earls Auto-Fit -10 AN 90° fittings
(1) 10 foot roll of Earls Perform-O-Flex -10 AN stainless steel braided hose (More than enough )

So, I should be getting it all done and together soon. As I stated in a previous thread, I got 4 gallons of antifreeze, 2 cases of oil, and 2 oil filters for Christmas, so I plan on draining and flushing the cooling system, as well as the oil system. I have to anyway to take out the water/oil cooler. Then, after I get the lines made and hooked up, Ill mix the correct ratio of water to coolant and refill the cooling system, and then put a new Purolator oil filter on with fresh oil, and she will be so happy . I cant wait to get this project buttoned down and finished .

Oh yeah, and I got a free third MSD Blaster 2 coil from some guy at Schucks the other day, so as soon as I get the 6A box (or if I build DLIDFIS, I have all the parts and then some, Im just lazy), shes gonna be direct fire . The guy heard me talking to a friend that works at Schucks about my ignition plans, and he said he had a Blaster coil that he had used for a little while in his Jeep 4x4, but then used some Mallory stuff that came with another engine that he swapped in the Jeep or something...Anyway, he just gave it to me saying "Im never gonna use it again" . I was happy. Its a little scratched up, but it looks ok. I hooked it up temporarily in my little bracket I made for my two coils, and it works, so Im really happy. Anyway, just sharing some more good news .

Free is always good How much was that roll of SS braided hose? For that matter, how much did the whole shebang cost you?

You sure you needed all those 90's? I think I only used one. What kind of oil cooler was it?

Yea 79=82 style, and he mounted it in front of the tall rad. So he's gonna need 90's to make his lines prolly go down and around the side of the rad, under the batt box. Yes TJ? or do you have some other plan?

Yup. Then the other two 90s are for the engine block to head towards the front. The total cost so far was about $200 for everything I ordered. A little more expensive then just buying preade lines, but I need custom ones cause of where my oil cooler is mounted...Oh yeah, and speaking of which, heres how its mounted . https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ght=oil+cooler I plan on cleaning the mount up someday, its just kinda "in there" nothing special. I wanna make it all look nice eventually...

For -10 AN SS braided? Plus the fittings? Plus the adapters? Plus the washers? Plus the O rings? Where?? Were you gonna have them made? I was going to do that, but then decided that I wanted to just learn to do it myself...

BTW, here is why I need those four 90s Alex...Two at the engine to go to the front, and two here to go down and through the hole.

**** guys...I just realized I have another problem I forgot about. I dont know if all of you remember, but a while back I discovered that the hole where my oil pressure sender was supposed to go (directly below the oil filter/oil cooler) is filled with JB weld...Who knows why. Someone bought or made an adapter and put the oil pressure sender down in the bottom of the engine where the rear oil line would come out if I had an air/oil cooler stock. Anyway, it kinda looks like this hole may have been modified with JB weld also (to fit the adapter maybe?), I just hope that it hasnt been modifed. If it hasnt been modified, then Ill be lucky. Although, Im gonna have to find somewhere else to put the oil PSI sender when I get the new lines installed...Like an oil PSI/temp block from RB or somewhere. Anyway, I cant afford this . I noticed 1st7heaven has one on his site for $38 that I think Im gonna try and buy, but its just getting more and more inconvienant, not to mention expensive. Plus, if I had thought about this earlier, I could have avoided ordering two new O-rings from MazdaTrix because the oil PSI/temp blocks come with 4 new ones . Damn problems, lol. Oh well, I guess I could return the O-rings if I get the block or something. Anyone have any great ideas?

Im gonna have to say yeah...

Although, I was thinking there may have been method to this madness...What if the old hole stripped out or something...Not that it matters, I was just trying to justify why someone would do that.
