Exclamation oil cooler?

i have to oil cooler that i got a good deal on from the junkyard both are pretty small 1 is 5"x9"x1" thick of off a volvo with small 1/4" inlet and outlet ports the other is 3"x12"x2" thick from a turbo saden Saab with large 1/2" inlet and outlet can i use any of these or are the 7 oil coolers specific for whatever reason for our 7. id like to use the smaller one for tranny and large one for oil they are in excellent shape and i can still get the lines from the yard if i want. picked em up for 15 bucks still had oil in em too. just a thought cuz it doesnt sound like anyone has brought this up.

you really don't need a trans cooler. trust me. also, stay with your 7's original oil cooler. you will regret it if you don't.

Look at it this way:

People who race SAABs and Volvos and other cars remove their stock oil coolers and install RX-7 units.

We are blessed and cursed with the biggest, badassedest oil coolers installed on a production car. Blessed because, well, they kick ***. Cursed, because there's no cheap way to upgrade if necessary, other than mounting a second cooler in series... somewhere.

mount another rx-7 cooler in series, right behind the stock one, it'll help (less than if they were side-by-side) a pretty bgood bit and not take up any more room
