The fill tube should not leak in the first place. Maybe your PCV system needs to be gone over?

Instead of a can, you could just attach a length of hose to that lower tube, and run it up the side of the filler tube with a couple wire ties so the open end is higher up.

That way, the rise in oil levels when cornering shouldn't be enough to make oil come out, unless you've got some serious blow-by problems.

Or you could block the lower tube and vent the top of the filler cap, which would do the same thing.

Just cap it. Otherwise, I have run a vacuum line from that nipple to the base of the carb. No issues either way... Currently I just have the nipple capped. I get a small amount of condensation under the oil cap, but not bad enough to worry about as long as I perform oil changes on schedule.

Plug the nipple on the oil fill neck, and instead you can thread a 90 degree brass fitting into the oil cap. This still gives you a vent, but you don't have to worry about oil sloshing out. This is Wackyricer's (formerly Wackyracer) idea. I'm going to be doing this on my FB.

I bought one of these as the price was right and if I decide I do not what to go with it, I can probably sell it for what I bought it for. I have not installed it yet:
