New project... 82 GSL

He guys. Just wanted to share my story. Ive had 5 FB's and the last one was in 2005.

A couple of months ago had the chance to purchase a 82 GSL all original. Factory 12a motor, exhaust, rats nest....well everything.

The last time it was registered by the orininal owner was in 2014. Since then was parked and hot the interior baked...everthing was brittle and warped. I took all the interior out and now Im working on the suspension...got new shocks and struts, new bushings and links for the front and rear sway bars, new terminals, pitman and idler arms... I will take out the differential to clean it and paint it and also do the calipers...

Well it will be a long road but fun at the same time to bring her back to the old glory days....

I will keep posting updates....

Looks like it's gonna be a fun project. Good starting place too - no rust that I can see.

Just as a heads up, this will probably be moved to the build section. A more senior member than I will probably be along pretty soon to give you a little more info on that.

Best of luck on your project!

Thanks Benjamin.... I got lucky with her.. The only bad was that the interior was no good... But I already got a pair of TII bucket seats for her....

Also after I post this I realized that there was indeed a "Build Section"....

Still trying to figure out the layout!! Lmao....
