New Rebuild Project Begins *project streetport*

Well for my quest for "power " and the love of working on rotarys, ive decided to rebuild my 66k mile core i had laying around, the engine will be streetported for the hope of 180-200 RWHP.. but today i did most of the measuing to see if the parts are in spec and most all of them are!!!.. also this rebuild i WILL be attempting to use RA coolent seals again, i wanna show them who is boss(and there cheaper hehe) but itz gonna have Ra apex(possibly 3mm) and ra o ring set, atkins thermal pellet, Fd cornner springs, possibly new side seal springs.. the core engine all the irons and rotors were well in spec, 1 rotor housing is great the other is bad from severe chrome shipping(new, used replacements on order) well just sit back and enjoy the pics, u know i allways have alot..

Bad rotor housing with severe chome chipping

Side Seal measuring

Corner seal measuring

Damm Sharp parts lol

Measuring the oil control rings

Apex Seal springs

all parts bagged and organized

Any reason why you're going 3mm?
That just kills power due to inferior sealing.
There's no reason to go 3mm on an NA application - the 2mm will give you better power!

thanks Reted for shedding some light on that subject.. i was really unsure on the subject, i just figured they would take more time to wear out so there for they would last longer.. but the goal is power on this engine so i will deff go with 2mm

thanks

Dustin
