The pics and small description are here:

Hmmm, not too sure how much I would charge to make one. I'll have to see how it works on my car and see if there's anything I'd like to change before I start selling them.

There are vacuum fittings on it now, just didn't have 'em on yet in these pictures. I'll get some pics of it on the engine in a week.

Should be. Engine in there is fucked. Taking it out tomorrow, tearing that engine apart firday, building the new one saturday, putting it back in sunday. Hopefully I'll be driving in monday and be tuning it all next week.

Looks real good. Seriously Nice Fabrication skills.

My one recommendation:

Make the Charge Air inlet on the top or bottom of the air box. you have it pointing straight into the carbs, and unless it's "PERFECTLY" centered, one side might get more airflow than the other.

Which I am sure you already know can lead to tuning problems, leaning out, etc.

If the pressurized air points away from the carb inlet, then the whole box will be pressurized, and you'll have even flow into the carbs.

Well, all the holes were cut on a prototrack mill, so it's "prefectly" centered as much as it can be, probably easily within 1/32".

Also, no room on top or bottom to do it. Hood doesn't clear by much at all. And on the bottom I already had to chop off 1/2 the oil filler neck to give it clearance. I made the runners long to give it more low/mid power and the turbo hat would hit the filler neck if it was stock heigth. You'll see exactly what I mean once I get pics of it on the car.

Neeeeet.

You might want to redo the hat. It looks *way* too small. You want room for velocity stacks on the carb (velocity stacks are almost a MUST for sidedrafts) and then maybe as much length again as the stacks take up.

I realize that clearance is an issue.

Yeah, I want to make a bigger one that will let me use the stacks, but for now this one will work. I took care of clearance with the oil filler neck, I just cut most of it off So now I should have room for one that's quite a bit bigger.

I could make them, but I'd have to be able to borrow an IDA from someone so I could make sure everything would fit.

Trim down that carb flange!
did you just buy mandrel u-bends from somewhere?
or.....what are they?
How thick are the pipes?

I guess you just bought the intake (engine side) flange?

If so I can make you those flanges for way cheaper than rb or whoever.
Let me know.

If your worried about your clearance you might want to thing about fabricating a hood scoop.

nice job too!!

I didn't buy racingbeat flanges, I made them myself. And I just got 4 u bends and cut them and merged them myself. Pipes have a 1/16 wall I think.

That's a fantastic job, cody.
I'll be interested to see what it will cost.
I hope people will understand that quality work like that isn't cheap.

Cody are those photographs reversed?
From the photos, the mani looks like it's sloping the wrong way.

Great work Cody..

not sure what ya mean by sloping Sterling, but they look good to me..

I think your next project should be an intake manifold for the stock carb so that turbo clearance problems will be taken care of. Surely I wouldn't be the only one interested, once i get the cash to actually go turbo..
