Bob, come on. You have been around long enough to know that this has been covered many times over.

my clutch wont!!!!!!!!

pedal to the floor,no return, cant shift with engine running. shut off ,shift , start engine, go,until need to shift again. do I need to simply drain and flush the clutch lines , replace rubber hose, replace slave cyl replace both cyl ????? and the omp gasket needs replacing, .one darn thing after another.

Bob i am no expert, but if you look at the slave cylinder mounted by the firewall drivers side and have someone pump the clutch watch to see if the fork moves if not feel around the slave cylinder and hose as well as master. If there is any type of leak, i would replace all (chances are they are all equally old) and besides the price is minimal. Howeverif the fork moves significantly you may have a bigger problem.

Pedal not returning is generally a sign of a bad clutch master.
As mentioned, replacing both the slave and master at the same time is a good idea.

Bob, my Audi will sometimes do this after sitting for months (winter car). For the past two years, I've been able to get it working again just by moving the pedal up/down for a few minutes. Might be worth a shot...
