I have not mounted the window reg/motor onto the door itself but all is correctly pluged in and still no power/movment what could it be? Do I have to mount the regulator/motor onto the door so there can be some kind of ground contact?please help..

The motor does NOT need to be grounded as the ground goes through the switch. There are two wires, and depending on which way it is going(up or down) one wire is power, and the other is ground, and vice versa when it goes in the other direction.

If I remember right I needed to add a sub harness from the switch wiring to under the dah somewhere to complete the circuit.

Clean and lube the gears, tracks and rollers, then check the track seals that the window rides in for deformation and movement. White lithium grease, aerosol, for the gears/rollers.
