So I recently did the emissions delete on my Nikki. Everything is sealed up where it should be. I don't have cats and my oem muffler is not clogged or anything. It has trouble raising rpm and will not exceed 4500rpm while driving. In neutral its revs perfectly fine. Clutch grabs good as well. I don't know what if could be. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

This may be it, or the doohickey at the top, as mazdaverx713b posted to you in sept of last year. I prefer to delete the emergency return spring, as I like the lighter throttle.
Have someone slowly depress the throttle while you observe the butterflies. (Engine off!) Do they fully open? Does the rod in the emergency return spring hit the wrongly oriented teeter totter at the top? If yes and no, you have something else to pursue. I vote no and yes. Let us know!

Cookboy, my butterflies do not close, basically do not move at all. And it looks like the emergency return spring is working properly, I'm not sure. Its not hitting anything.

do require slight opening at idle to make the idle circuit work but should move when
the throttle is pressed. Secondaries open based on vacuum.

Ok so with the butterfly open when throttle is applied it still will not rev out past about 5k rpm. I'm starting to think it might be one of the ignition modules?
