Need help on rat's nest!

Hi Everyone, just finished getting all the vacuum hoses hooked up on my 1984 RX7... but I have a question. Not sure what vacuum hose... if any? goes on this end of the Rat's Nest. It's the time that has an insert in it to make the opening very small. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You!

I'm pretty sure that goes to the idle compensator on the air cleaner housing

A third for the idle compensator. Make sure that to cap that line if the car is running with the air box off or else you'll have a large vacuum leak.

The car is running with the air pump and air cleaner. Everything is stock original. Why is there a “tee” for that line? I now have one end going directly to the air cleaner (ideal compensator) and the other end of the tee going to the metal end (circled in red) in the pic I posted. Is that correct?

let me know, thanks

Yes - That line tees. Just looked at mine and mine configuration is a little different. My purge valve is located just to the left red circle you have and connects to a stand where those two empty holes. On my tee, one end goes to the purge valve and the other to your red circle, then on to the air cleaner.

The dizzy vacuums and inner cover are buffed. The oil pedestal is a RE-Speed one that has been buffed and clear powder coated.

I used a bench grinder with a big cloth wheel and buffing polish. It's a pain n the butt. I do my own powder coating also.

Kansas City REPU, reminds me of christmas morning when I was 7 years old. My father gave the old lionel train set that had been in the family for ever to his boss, and stole a **** load of bright LEDS from his work, and set up a slot car race track. Everything was all bright red and green and shiny.

I hear ya. After a got done with that color scheme, I realized it just wasn't going to work. Bright and Shiny, but gosh that's a lot of red.

Here is it today after a rebuild.

Vibrant - this link is the black one. I'm going to switch out to black. The red is a little to much for my taste. I does take a little more then what's in the kit but you can get individual sizes.
