TX Need help Identifying these parts

but i got an rx2, with a..? FB 12a. and it has the front mounted oil cooler. but under the oil temp sensor theirs a line. thats for... coolant? oil im not sure but either way its annoying and the guy i got it from put a big rubber end cap and use a clamp and its splitting and leaking, is there a better solution for this? a nut or something to screw in there?
what is in there ? and should it be hooked up somewhere?

thanks in advance for any help. i searched and found like 1 or two threads. nut nothing really specific about a permanent solution for this, so id figured id ask

below the filter, in order from top down. oil pressure sensor (little bell shaped guy), then the water temp sensor, then the small tube below that is for the heater core. if its not being used, pretty much all that can be done is to cap it off with a fresh end cap. the pipe is pressed into the iron, so there are no threads in there

Looks like your rubber plug needs to be replaced
Those things always go bad.there crap. Many
People use a piece or heater hose with a plug
Of some sort. About the wtf part. that's where the water
Temp sensor would go.

Would it be cruel at this point to point out that it's spelled "retarded?"

not cruel at all..

water temp sender is broken off in the rear iron. bad news bears my friend. the heater core runs to the water pipe on the rear iron that the previous owner capped like a dummy. also, its pressed into the rear iron, so i'm not sure why it has a six point fitting end on it.. the thing you have labeled "nut" is the oil pressure sender.

The nut does spin off and it has a
Copper crush washer behind it. I guess you
Can remove it and plug it. I don't know the
Thread size but I know it's not a pipe thread

If it isn't leaking, I wouldn't touch it. Is there a working sensor somehwere else for temp?

If I remember correctly that hole is 1/8" British standard pipe thread. Same diameter as the American 1/8" pipe thread, but ONE thread per inch different thread pitch.

Ok so i got it off... but i went to oriellys to get a plug... the threads match but.. its a bit snug... but maybe its just all the gunk in the engine side of things... jhst kinda worried i didnt want to cmreally crank on it. And crossthread it... but come on you can tell me that re-speed or someone doesnt make a plug for this line? Id rather buy one from people whove done it before i ruin mine...

ive never seen the heater core outlet fitting threaded in, all my iron have a smooth tube and pressed. As for the broken coolant temp sensor, if you desire to remove it, ide wager that its not very stuck, you could probable back it out by hand with and extractor. with out the head on it there is nothing applying tension against the threads. i broke mine off flush with the iron on my last build, and i got it out with a small flat head screwdriver

Pretty sure the beehive engines have it threaded in. I know the SA engines its a
pressed in friction fit for that pipe.

well i was told the motor was from a Series 2 FB. and its definitely threaded. but i have a spare motor out of a SA, and its not there at all. and my 85 has it pressed in... . so its definitely weird....

i figure it must be a 10M x 1.0 or 1.25 so ima go and order one and have it installed later its starting to heat up so ima go back inside lol

well im pretty sure that the rear is from an RX2.. so its either a frankenstien motor hacked between a RX2 and a rx7 12A. is there any way to identify the houstins or some ID plates that should be on there?
