I have a 87 13b engine with the whole stock FI system and want to put it in a 81 rx7 but don't know how to set it up,was wandering if it was possible to get a 2nd gen computer to maintain it all. and and is there major plumbing involved and what type of fuel pump do I use cause first gen don't have a latch in the hatch for a fuel pump.Sorry for this huge intro.But any help will be greatly appreciated

Well it's certainly possible, and not that hard if you know what you're doing. However, based on the questions you are asking, I can't in good faith suggest you take on this project. A little more experience is probably necessary since if you have enough knowledge, you shouldn't need to ask these questions.

 

I've been researching this for a while and now just acquired a complete 87 N/A RX-7, I have an 85 with the 12A automatic combo. I'm going to start a thread in the first gen section to ask my questions and make sure my research is spot on.

 

I think I'll move this to 1st gen, actually...
