Hello Everyone

I have jsut picked up a 79 Rx7 and would like to remove the infamous Rats nest and polution equipment.
I have found tons of info on the matter but for 81-85 engines..not much for 79-80.

I know that they are simmilar but not exact.
Where can i find detailed and possibally pictured details on removing the rats nest and all polution equipment on a 79.

uhm you half to remove the cats and what not b4 removing the air pump i think it will overheat the cats

OK..i have installed a RB header, Borla XR1 muffler instead of the CAT and a RB premaflow muffler..All with 3inch pipe.

Remved all the vacumes on the Black (plastic) carb spacer and closed them off.

Remved the airpump, and valve on the intake and sealed it with a block off plate.
I followed Carls .PDF tutorial as much as i could but htis is a 79 so a few things are different.
I used a 85 intake and closed off all open lines to it except the brake booster line.


what else is recomended?
