Looks good! I have a couple of questions about the turbo setup (I assume its a 12A). First, what kind of a manifold are you using. Second, Where did you get that Airbox? And third, why does it look like you have two intakes (two airfilters)?

It's actually an 87 13B 4 port. and the entire tubo system is a Cartech one.
The smaller air filter is for the internal blow off valve I believe.
I don't currently have an airbox, that is why I am sucking in all the hot air.

Looking Good!! I love the Cartech Kits. They put out real nice numbers on 1st Gens. My only recommendation would be an Air to Air intercooler. Did you buy the car like that? How much did you pay, you lucky bastard! Any HP numbers?

Hey, thanks for posting the pics, I appreciate it.
I would have done it, but I am a lazy bastard and didn't want to take the time to learn how.
I am looking into an air-air unit, top-bottom flow. I have a turbo hat already, but the entrance is in the front and I don't know if it will clear the upper radiator hose.
Going to dyno tune it soon, maybe next week, the guy is at the races this weekend.
I am doing 2 things this month:
1. Aluminum flywheel
2. Jacobs rotary Pak
I might do the TWM throttle body and FI in the future, if I hit the lottery.
I bought the car with the Cartech unit, but I put in all the gauges and cleaned it up a bunch. The guy didn't drive it much, so when I started driving it everyday, many parts went south, so I upgraded them.

I paid a grip for the car, $4200, but he was asking $5000.
But it had a fresh rebuild and the body and interior are in 95% condition.
I also drove for 4 hours just to look at this car before buying it.

I have a Cartech kit for the 13B on my 81 FB. All the Cartech kits come with wastegates which are located under the engine between the tranny and the downpipe. His kit probably came with cold air intake ducting to the turbo, but the previous owner decided to put the air filter directly onto the compressor as it quickens spoolup slightly. He used different air filters too because the Cartech kit comes with K and N brand filters. The 13B pictured is definately carbed, probably a Weber setup and the carb is located under the black "Intercooled Turbo" bonnet. The intercooler itself is most likely mounted in front of the radiator, at least that's where mine is. As for power, these kits are wonderful, with ample boost making itself recognized at about 3,000 rpm up to the rest of the tach. I havn't really noticed any lag, if not a little. My 13B has had an aggressive street-porting job done to it, do you know if your motor has any port work? It must be ported if it's got the Cartech kit. Cartech rates your setup at around 380, with a port job.

The car is basically stock ported, the intake side is all mismatched ported. I will be cleaning it up soon.
The guy who owned it before didn't pay too much attention to detail, most of the stuff is afro-rigged.
Boost is realized somewhere between 4K-4.5K rpm, and I am boosting 8 lbs. The timing is set as far back as the dist. will let me, so I will probably boost 12 lbs. once I put the car on the dyno and see what it does.
I don't know what the numbers are, probably 250-280 RWHP, all I know is that traction is a problem through the first 2 gears.
