I lost a corner seal spring on the floor, and could not find it. It was getting dark, and I was getting very worried that I would now have till wait till Monday to close it.
So I got the bright idea to sweep the floor with a maqgnet
My batteries on the camera died. I'll take some pics of the engine in a little while.
I had watched the Atkins video on my laptop so many times, that by the time it got to the rebuild, I did'nt even need it:
BTW: Atkins Original VHS tape $20 shipped

Looks good man... but are you building it on top of a bucket? Brings new meaning to building on a budget!

Alex,
Engine was still running, but I wanted to refresh it to go with Microtech and Bigger turbo.
When I opened the engine I found that the previous builder used 88 and 89 housings, and My friend had a new set lying around in his living room so I bought them.

Looks good bro! How detailed where you with "tolerences and specs" ? When I rebuilt my first engine it ran great and still does, but I hear many builders talking about measuring and all but in my opinion if it ran well before you took it apart it should still be within tolerences and workable.....right? I'm currently building another 12a and I tried all the measuring they talk about in those videos and Hanes book and it just drives me nuts!
