Let us know how that rack works. That is what I am intersted in. I might have to fab up a subframe to mount a VW rack if it works out right.

Looking good. I remember the video you posted quite some time ago. I can't believe how bar that engine bay is. Makes mine look like a CCF.

Have fun with her.

Well I took the rail to get rewelded and cameback home and installed it. It still leaks!!!! I think the reason I'm not upset is because I'm still so happy she started right up yesterday. I'll take it to get welded again tomorrw and hopefully go for a spin.

I'll keep you posted on the R&P kit.

Nope!

Update:

I got the car tuned for idle and the 1000k mile break in. My tuner even told me "This Engine Feel strong Mon!! Were estimating 380-400whp at 15psi when we tune for boost. I drove the car home and she felt great.

Although the CP R&P turning Radius isn't that great, it's still 100XXX times better than the original crap. When I got on the Highway, OMG!! what a difference. If you turn the steering wheel one cm, the tires turn instantly. When ever I make it to the next SE meet, I'll let Alex (Directfreak) take it for a spin so he can give his opinion.

The only problem I had was that my Microtech Ignition booster fried, and the car is sitting at my job till Friday. As soon as I fix the problem and align the car I'll give another update.

Sitting at my boss's house.

Almost comlete engine bay

Looks like we finally will be able to cruise together Alex. I've been driving the car everyday to work while I break in the motor, and she's running pretty good. Too bad I can't step on it yet until I tune for boost, but I can't wait to hear that turbo spooling at 15lbs

I took a few pics by the bay today. It should look much nicer when I paint it and slam it to the ground.

Still running

Shot some small clips of my my car before I install the silencer and the Magnaflow muffler. Car was breaking up a bit and running rich cause the Microtech still needs tunning. At the moment I'm running a 3" straight back to a cheap as muffler.

I don't think you're running rich enough.

Very nice work, gives me hope that I won't have too much of a problem cracking my 12A keg this winter.

400whp at 15-17psi... I may have to run 1000cc injectors all around or 720/1600. My current setup is 720/1000
