OK heres my setup, its a rebuilt motor, has about 350 miles on it so far. The weber is new. Cap and rotor are new. Plug wires are new. Plugs are new. I'm premixing MMO. I have stock exhaust, cats are hollowed out.

The thing does backfire every once in a while when i shut it off. I know its running rich at idle. When I got the thing smogged for ***** and giggles, it got 1800 hydrocarbons at idle and 430 at cruise. Big difference.

I guess it might be fuel pressure. I have an inline Mr. Gasket fuel guage, only it allways reads ZERO.... But the thing doesnt flood ever, or studder at high RPMS or anything. So I think the fuel pressure might be ok.

I'm really thinking its the timing, if its supposed to be 5 degrees after and I'm 10 before, thats probably my problem.
