Muffler
Muffler
I need to fix my muffler to pass inspection, My muffler is not in bad shape except that the twin tips are rotting. The rest of the muffle and attaching pipes are fine. I don't want to spend $256 for a racing beat when the current muffler is sold and I doubt want to get a Advance Auto OEM replacement. What universal muffler such as a Dynomax or Flowmaster could I use insatead?
get rid of the stock muffler it is like 30 lbs.... and it dose its job to well of muffling and dose not let the exhaust flow very well witch shortens the life of the motor...

That's why when they are replaced with a straight pipe you'll get the single biggest power modification and a raspy loud exhaust tone with the stock muffler.

High quality being the operative words.
