MSD Mounting Locations

Anyone have 3 MSD boxes mounted? I got a 6AL and 2 6A's. I want to keep them as close to the spark plugs as possible to keep down the wiring mess. I was thinking one on each side of the driver shock tower, but there is little room there. I cannot do the firewall as it is holding my FPR and it would block access to the slave cylinder (Never be too careful ).

Trying to avoid stacking. I don't know about stacking high voltage appliances together... sounds scary

I am thinking of the inside of the drivers side radiator support, but I am worried about rain. Hmm.

Put them under where your windshield wipers attach, remove that piece and stick them under there! Haha jk. I'm pretty sure you can only fit 2 there.

Check this one out:

I was thinking of moving the battery to the bin and putting the MSD's in the stock battery location.

i don't know how well this will work out, but if you don't have A/C anymore, you can make an "L" bracket or something and mount it on the A/C studs . . . or two on the strut tower, and one on that bracket, it'll keep wiring to a minimum i suppose . . . just throwing ideas out there lol.

I think if you did that then you would be getting more heat from the motor to the MSDs.

Edit: also the vibration

Yeah. Will be running either a bridge/j port 12a or PP 13b

My FPR is there, and I can only fit 2. I would if I could.

I have the radiator surround out of the track car, and I have the 6AL on the inside drivers side, with the 2 6a's under the top panel. Should be nice, I got the surrounds outside drying, I got them painted black

Pictures in a few, I have to run out and grab another Blaster 2 coil.

EDIT: Miata battery in that picture? I was thinking of running one.
