Fog light mounting position?

I have a 79, and I recently came accross some fog lights for fairly cheap. Only problem is, I don't know where to mount them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I put mine under the grill, next to the tow hooks. Took a little bit of metal work, but they're concealed fairly well there until I turn them on.

On the SA, you can mount them directly on the underside of the bumper. Once I finally get the SA bumpers installed on the widebody, that's where mine are going.

You could make brackets, but chances are the lights would vibrate badly. That's really irritating, not only for the driver but also for everyone you meet.

I put them where Sgt Fox has his, they work really well there. as Trochoid said anything else would probably vibrate like crazy unless you make some really solid mounts for them somehow. In the end is easiest to hang them off teh bumper, they do a really good job of lighting the road there.

the red air dam (first on the page) with the fog lite holes is nice if you wanna run fog lights. i have one of those for my car (not installed yet) and the lights look great in it, its really gonna bring the look of the car together. not sure if this is something you were looking for, but its a good way to mount fog lights none the less.

Anyone have any sizing suggestions for the lights used in the above example?
I've found a couple different ones at Aut0z0ne and NAPA and whatnot, but if possible, I'd like to see some with amber lenses (as opposed to amber bulbs) to match the turn signals

I've got a set of Pilots I never have put on; I was toying with putting them behind the grille, mounted to the round cross-bar, so they'd shine out through the grille. I figured that'd force the light down toward the road only, with minimal visual impact.
