MSD 6btm and Turbo Applications.
Okay, i know the benefits of direct fire, and am running it on my car now. What i want to know now is, when i get the 13bt, i need something to retard the timing when boost comes in....
since i'll only be using a Haltech f9a, and not a whole engine computer, i need something like the MSD 6btm, that retards timing with vacuum.
how do you retard leading and trailing? does the MSD do that?... i've always been confused as to how the MSD works on a rotary.
any OTHER ways to do this without a 12at dizzy or something of that nature?

Going fast ain't cheap. (at least not cheap with a rotary)
If you don't retard the trailing as well, you may as well have no retard. It could still pop your engine.
Don't worry about them for now, just use you stock dizzy, and lock it at maximum advance setting.
You can always get fancy later.
