Question LSD oil type question

I got a GSL with a OEM clutch LSD, can I switch from mineral to Royal Purple(synthetic)? I was just thinking about this just before finishing up the drivers side axle and adding my Royal Purple.
Anybody have any experience or a knowledge of oil types for the 1st Gen LSD's?

Thanks

For your Trans and LSD you can use mineral or synthetic. I would use a synthetic or the royal purple but I think you still need to add a LSD additive to the Royal Purple so your LSD functions properly.

Yeah, I checked it and the Royal purple has the additive already in it.
Kool, I'll post what it does when I get it back together in a couple of hours.
