Its Leather!! (otherwise your car would have been a "Vinyl Sport" )
try the Lexol products, there is a cleaner, then a conditioner, or similar - quite a few out there. BUT TRY A SMALL TEST AREA FIRST!!! Sometimes these cleaners, etc. leave the surface feeling "sticky". Do NOT use an armorall product - will plug up the pores in the leather :p
Don't forget the steering wheel and shift ****. And for the threaded seams, get an old toothbrush to work the cleaner and conditoners into the seam to clean properly.
Nice SA - lucky dawg!!!!

yeah, most of that headliner and some of the side panels are leather. you'll feel a difference between the wind deflector which is vinyl and the headliner and such.

uhh, I think you guys are going to discover the headliner is also vinyl - different grade or type maybe, but considering most _higher-end_ cars (BMW, Jag, etc.) don't do leather on the headliner, you can be sure mazda wouldn't bother - and FWIW, while the Mazda Parts Book goes to _great_ lengths in noting the various leather trim on the seats, steering wheel, etc. and all the fiddly parts thereof, the Book does NOT specify a leather panel for the roof...

That is a sweet looking LS!

Are you the original owner? I have the same car (with a MUCH harsher interior) and can barely remember when the original owner (Dad) had it looking that nice.
