Looking for source of replacement parts.
well this is my first thread i am new to the site so hey but anyway i have an 82 FB with a few mods but it needs a little TLC but i need to get a few parts and wondering if there is a good place to get replacement parts -- body part and engine parts for a good price lmk

body parts new ha ha just kidding they don't make fist gen body parts any more so your best bet is the local junk yard and fight with the rest of us for them but seriously put up a post in the classified section and someone might have what you need

Actually, some body parts are still being made (look at the black dragon catalog). But I still go to the JY first.
There are (at least) three kinds of junkyards: (1) Pick 'n Pull, where you use your own tools to extract the part from a JY car and then you haul it up to the frontdesk to pay for it. Usually about $20 for a fender. (2) salvagers, where you call in first for the part and they send a monkey out in the yard to find it, and if they have it you go down and pick it up at the front desk, about $40 for a fender. (3) salvage yards, where they strip cars and have lists on the internet and you pay for something and they ship it to you. Usually about $100 for a fender, shipped.
IIRC, there's a salvage yard in Rancho Cordoba (or something like that) up near Sacramento.
