knockoff gt35

I got this off of ebay for cheap, any comments would be great, good or bad!

I'm thinking of replacing my t04b s5 hybrid with this.
also how will it spool on a stock port s4

I think this is the compressor map.

It's absolute junk. There's a reason why you got it for $61.00.

Those Chinese knock offs are about as good as a paperweight.

You know what, I don't want to start a flame war!

So I'm going to use it and I'll post some thoughts after testing for a bit.

Cheers

Talk to jeff he bought some ebay turbos for the coupe and the vert. Both pushing 500 rwhp didn't last long. He had them both rebuilt a few times and they kept crapping out. He has a true GT35R now for the coupe, and i can't wait untill the 4th of august to see what that beast does. You better come out and line up against him if your ready.

Hell for 61 bucks, give it a whirl. Probably by the time it craps out you will want a bigger and better one.

True for 61 bucks hell. the guy was like **** thats the lowest he's sold one, I also went and picked it up so I didn't have to pay any shipping:]

I'm going to measure the inducer and exducer to get a better idea of what type of power the turbo will make. If it is close to the garrett gt3571 which I have a feeling it is, I should be making 300hp at 10psi and 350 at 14psi, thats all I'm looking for, for now.

I just got to look for a smaller turbine housing, maybe a .84 or. 96.

cheers

61 bucks won't seem that cheap when the compressor wheel contacts the housing and goes on an excursion through your engine.

My thoughts exactly.
At the very least, run an intercooler to catch all the bits.Youll probably save the engine from injesting most of the big pieces, but youll have to toss the IC out or have it professionally cleaned inside....
