Question jap 1st gen turbo swap

i want to put the turbo/FI from a jap first gen into my 1984 gsl. I am having a friend go to a junk yard in japan to pull the nessisary parts for me. if anybody has experiance with this type of thing, what do i need from the donar car.

no experience but

turbo
intercooler
piping
brackets
harness
ecu
intake assembly
nuts bolts and whatnots
boost guage if equiped
knock sensor
af mix sensor


I am probably missing a few things but this should give a good head start.

the stock turbo 12A had no intercooler but you can easily have one made.

The Exhaust/ Turbo manifold is a MUST.

What are you going to use to control it?
You gonna keep it FI?

i read somewhere that a tII exhaust manifold will bolt right on if you grind part of the mounting holes, is this true?
