Cool RX-7 S stock w/68k miles

Greetings,
I'm new to the 7 scene and was wondering what everyone has done to their FB. For my first order of business I plan on putting in a LSD, but where should I go from there? Would swapping in a 13b be advisable, or should I stick with the 12a? I have a 5 speed and haven't had a problem with any lack of power, but wouldn't mind a little extra. Any and all suggestions/comments are encouraged and welcome.
Thanks,
Jason

Ill catch some jack over this one But if you want more than 200 hp and easily obtainable at that, go 13b turbo

HOLY SMOKES

I must admit, 200hp sounds real nice. Would my stock 5 speed tranny and a LSD hold up to it?
Is there anyone out there that runs first gens on the quarter, wanna share their times with us ?
How much HP can one squeeze out a 12a n/a(ballpark)?
I've seen an ***-load of turbos from older 280z&300z's in salvage yards. Would it be possible or even worth trying to use one ?
I've seen alot of these Racing Beat headers for sale. Are they good? Should I even bother?

I appreciate all the guidance.

yes, they will stand up to 200+ HP, but it's really going to depend on a few things, like how you drive the car and what kind of clutch/flywheel you use. constantly beating on the car will obviously kill one or both of them in a shorter time.

i don't have times to share ... but my guess is you be somewhere between 14 and 15 seconds in the quarter
but you're better off taking someone else's word for it, because they'll know A LOT more than i do about that.

stockport ~ about 140-150
streetport ~ anywhere between 160 and 180-ish
bridgeport ~ around 200-250 (depnding on intake)
peripheral port ~ 280 is the most i've ever heard of, but i may stand corrected ...

there would be a space problem on the exhaust side of the FB engine bay for turbo applications, but you'd still be better off getting a 13B turbo because it would still amount to less work and aggravation.

the whole RB exhaust is good (i'd even say the best - in my opinion)
however, i dont mean any offense by this, but it sounds like you need to make a plan of what you "ultimately" want before you do anything. consider money, purpose, length of downtime, etc.

oh yeah ... and do searches to check around the forum for any information on engine mods or engine swaps ... they are usually pretty enlightening.
