Instaling Carter Pump...Couple Q's
I read Kenestu's Entire thread on this subject, but I'm still a little baffled about the stupid boxes that are connected to the fuel line. One is near the tank, and another closer to the stock pump. Are these the check valves? They seem to be suspend mounted like a fuel pump would be, and I'm wondering if I should completely remove them. It would make life alot easier since I'm replacing all the fuel line (larger diameter to accomodate the inlet/outlet on the carter pump.
Also, This question may be stupid but if those are the check valves, are they connected to the return line or the feed line? I wonder if I should keep my return line at all...I am running a Weber 48ida.
Thanks

Pics would help us help you. I suspect one is the cut and check valve and is mounted
to the floor just aft of the tank. Not sure what the other on is unless its the filter.
Heres a pic of my carter mounted up:

Sorry no pics at the moment. Yes one is mounted to the floor just near the gas tank, and the other is mounted very close to the stock fuel pump. Its not the fuel filter.
