Indash Monitor

Alright ive been modifiing the interior of my 7 for quite some time and im finally finding all the parts that i need to install my ps2 and monitor....my question is what are some opinions for filling the holes around my monitor....ill be posting a complete write up of the complete modifications onces its all done....right now the car is missing all its locks, side mirrors...and its rear bumper and tail lights.....question for tail lights...what to replace them with?...thinking of going toyota supra

one pic is with flash and the other is without....for some reason the one without flash is really blurry so i thought id post both

first, cut out the hole so that it encompases all the holes. Then get some black plastic. cut it so that it covers that hole (and then some) Glue it in. Then cut out the hole for your monitor. I did something similar to cover up the hole that used to be for my stock EQ.

Oh, btw- use plastic weld... works quite well. I found it at a hardware store.

Good luck. Should look pretty good.

Except for the Supra tail lights

~T.J.

EDIT: Oh great... I just read the sig, its got a widebody and a custom 3rd gen front and now you want Supra lights? Im scared... But to each his own, who knows, maybe it will look cool. I keep having visions of that one thats primer grey widebody with Integra tails on it

the bumper is the 'oh so typical' ricer space ship bumper

everything else looks clean though even the IMSA wing................. except the supra tail lights that you have in future. keep it simple and clean

not ricey and typical in the F&F crowd

alright for starters i dont really like the front end of the original 1st gen....also i couldnt put on any other front end b/c of my wide front fenders.....the whole on the top is eing covered with fiberglass thats already being made on the back porch.....

i want a ps2 in the car for long trips so that my wife doesnt become a passenger driver...she can watch a movie while i drive...once ur married ull understand what im talking about....last off the rear tail lights i find hideous...there too square for my liking thats y i want to put in supra lights or even 3rd gen rx7 lights......the complete car is custom so im trying to make it as unique as possible....

i dont mind everyones opinions about how they dont like the ricer cosmetics.....but for me i like the way the car looks and i get a lot of heads turning when i pass by....i alo like the fact that nobody can tell what kind of car i drive and im always being asked...and then they ask how i got all the bodywork done....but thanks in the end for all the good and bad advice....

alright the front end is a 3rd gen rx7 airdam....i had to cut out the center portion and then it mainly attached right on....now im filling the hole up with a custom piece of fiberglass....the monitor is a 5.8" monitor that i removed from my portable DVD player....the lens on the DVD reader broke and wouldnt read anymore so i got the idea of taking it apart....worked out that the monitor has great picture and plays DVD's and PS2 brilliantly on it......

if anybody is going to the JGTC in Fontana im hoping to have the car finished and there.....i think it will turn a couple of heads and might get some attention when i take it on the track....thx for the props.
