12A turbo

hello i'm new to this forum i'm also a new RX7 owner. i have a 1983 RX7 sitting in my mechanices garage waiting to be resurected. I intend to fix the engine its got first any hint's on rebuilding a rotorary engine would be helpful...i have a manual i got from auto zone but we all know how helpfull they are, but its better than nothing...I'm am planing to turn it into a race car after i get good at driving it. i'd like to stick with 12 A and i found like 3 or 4 jdm 12A turbos but non of them have wiering harnesses and my car is carburated and the 12A turbo is fuel injected. anyone have any sugestions..i've tried Ebay but haven't had any luck.

i saw that RXtuner is going to do what i want to do to my car to their 79 ('cept i only want 350+hp at the wheels), and i couldn't be happier, i have a subscription and can't wait for that issue. (stupid comment) but i'd especially like some help any one that works for RXtuner. all other help is welcome too.

My advice...
Education. Read, learn about the Rotary engine and how it works....specially 12A's.

AND...pray that your mechanic knows about Rotaries. If not, youre screwed.

Good luck,

350 rwhp = deathtrap.

Ask anyone here running over 275, and it's SCARY FAST in such a light, nimble car.

Hell, I want even more. It's a death trap if you're into high speed (top-end) racing. If you're just keeping it below 120, it's plenty of fun.

BTW - Drag Radials RULE!

Thread jack: Are low compression (8.5-9.0:1) rotors available for the 12a? I'm planning a custom turbo 12a right now.
