Thumbs up FD TV Monitor-Forum Member Discount

For those of you who are interested, Jason just gave me the OK to offer these monitor panels to all of you. Thanks Jason! They are currently on Ebay at a starting bid of $175 and a buy-it-now option of $225 + shipping. Here's the deal! Those sold on Ebay include a 4in monitor and buy now price is $225. Forum members price is $200 + shipping and includes a 5in monitor. Here is a quick description as shown on Ebay:

Stealth Monitor System - The SMS allows you to have an LCD TV monitor in your car without the worry of theft and at a fraction of the cost of other monitors on the market. Each system includes a custom panel specifically designed for your glove box and a 4in. color monitor. Installation of the unit is very easy and can be done within 30 min. The monitor is compatible with all gaming systems and DVD players. The panel is wrapped in black vinyl giving it a sleek OEM look. You can also use the spare surface area on the unit to mount your turbo timer and gauges that don't require constant monitoring etc.

If anyone is interested, you may e-mail me directly with questions and ordering info at:

xplicitmr2@hotmail.com

Thanks,

Nick

Cool Nick! I can vouch for Nick, as that I've bought stuff from him before.

How about a 7-8" screen those of us with uncontrollable wallets, hehe?

Nice!

So for the overall cost it would be $200? That includes the monitor "sunken" in the glove box?

Heh. Very cool. It could potentially be used for a number of very cool things such as my proposed police car locator, which unfortunately won't be feasible until a few years from now. The cell phone jammer doesn't require a screen.

As for DVD's my PowerBook G4 has a 4+ hour battery life and a 15.2" wide screen that is perfect for DVD's due to it's 3:2 aspect ratio. And it doesn't suck alternator power.

How would you hook up a dvd player? Does it have rca or s-video inputs or do you need a seperate receiver/tuner?

The monitor has a RCA video input plug. For example, the same video RCA that you hook up to your home tv when connecting a PS2. You will do the same thing with an in-dash DVD player or PS2.

I saw that on an online store for NSX's but never saw anything else about them. By chance do you have any info on them?
