Impossible bolt removal

Currently removing dash in 84 GS. What kind of sorcery or witchcraft is needed to get the 3 bolts out that are under the defrost vents at the windshield? I'm about ready to remove the windshield to get at them.

a phillips screw driver bit and i think it's like a 5/16(8mm) wrench.

^this is even better. have also used those offset tools. there's also the really short stubby drivers.

When I removed the dash on my 82 I used one of this….gave me a hard time but I got them out….
