I had an idea...
'Cause it's a pain to twist on that damn ****, when a crank would be more efficient. I'm not trying to change the world with this idea, obviously. Just thought it would be "cool", like the kids say.
I'm with YOU. It's a pain to crank and crank and crank during a sudden rainstorm.......
God, I'm a lazy ***. Actually, I just finished installing remote locks on my SE and I'm looking for something else to do...

I have always kicked around the idea of a motor with a worm drive gear that would do it electrically, but I never cared enough to try it.
Besides, my sunroof is open almost 100% of the time anyway even in the rain, so I dont really open and close it that much. Rain never comes in unless Im backing up anyway. I only really close it when Im parking for the night, or when I feel I need to secure the car if Im gonna be gone for a while (at a movie or something).

Power accessories=more weight and just something else to break, in my opinion. I think I'm just going to kludge on a little handle and rotating **** right on to the stock ****. A REAL sports car should be a bit Spartan, don't you think?
