Most stock cars come equipped with a 4 Link. Mine, will just be a different version

Ever seen a pro-street car? That's basically what I'm building, except mine will run it's *** off.

I have Steve Kan coming to tune the car Nov 29-30. So, I'll be breaking the rear/front plate then. Once that's done, I'll build a motor. I'll then have Kan come back to tune in the Spring with the new motor, and hopefully put down 700whp +.

 

that sounds rather controproductive.. why not build a motor now and sell the functioning one you have for profit

 

yes, it's very counterproductive................. but I want to drive the car now, and not wait for a motor build

Very nice work that you've accomplished so far (I've been away for a long time) and seeing the video of it running just puts a big *** smile on my face. With the location of the new radiator and the like, I just wanna ask because I'm curious, but with it being a pro-street, will the cooling be affected at all?

 

breaking the rear/front plate? I think you're underestimating the stoutness of the 12a. Isn't Robert from RotaryShack running the stock 12a plates on his drag car? or are those 13b plates?

Pro-street class, very nice. If the stock hood closes that would be pure sex! Something about stock appearing 'built' cars makes me go nuts. I recently cought up with a local Auto-X and Roadcourse instructor that drives a 3rd Gen Rx7 that looked completely stock, even when popping the hood everything looked stock(including all piping and intercooler), the only thing out of the ordinary was his aeromotive regulator that he tried to hide underneath some piping. Even his programmer was tucked away out of site in the glove compartment. Very evil street car with 385hp to the wheels on tap. Good luck with the build and have fun with the 'busas.

 

I'm running the S4 TII block, not the 12A

 

completely missed that. I've heard that S4 irons are much weaker than 12a/S6+ irons, is this the reason why you're thinking that you're going to break plates?

Ethanol, I had a problem with my manifold leaking. But, A-Spec is now building me a new one

 

old wheels and 205 tires/new wheels and 325 tires

not tubbed yet, going to starting cutting in november......... just a minitub though

 

Alright............. it aint perdy, but I'm cutting the back end out of my car once it gets tuned so I didn't want to spend alot of time on it since it will get getting pulled back out.

Everything went smooth, the bulkhead in the engine bay was a pain though.
