Talking I got it home!

I finaly brought my 83' Limited Edition home today! It was my first real time driving a stick in traffic. I had no instruction from anyone either lol. That was a bit nervracking heh. But I made it with only one stall lol. I will get some pics of it, if I can get my hands on a digital camera. I finaly got it w00t hehe.

Yeah, CD players are pretty much a MUST.

And the speakers are pretty small, but they sound damn good to me.

And ever since I started driving a stick, I have troubles driving an auto 'cause I keep wanting to put the clutch in, but I'm actually on the break and I stop abruptly and it pisses me off.

I bet the car was saying, 'always wanted to be a milkshake' all the way home. Oh man the poor clutch, oh the 'horrors'

Manual transmissions make driving much more enjoyable, except when you're in traffic.

Hey now I learned how to start and shift smoothly. I'm not a whiplash shifter lol. I would say I did very well for my first time and teaching my self!

Cool I was driving an automatic 89 probe for a few weeks. So I went from front wheel drive automatic to rear wheel drive stick. It's quite a big difference.

I wouldn't have anything but a stick. I hate turning a corner hard, punching it, and having the tranny hesitate before deciding that it should downshift. And you look cool shifting. Burnouts in an auto? Oooo, if you can do it, you're breaking something.

Even in traffic it's kinda fun to have a manual. I remember sitting in Seattle traffic last summer in my FC and every time I got frustrated/bored, I'd just rev it really high and pop the clutch a little. Y'know, just chirp 'em to get everyone's attention.

For some reasone my stock speaker always made this "pop" sound when i pushed it too hard....so do my Rockfords I have in now! The drivers side seams to be ok. I wonder what the frikkin problem is.

That's why you shift your automatic like a 4 speed..lol...I've been doing that lately, its quicker, and you can go through the whole rev range, drop gears, ect.

50km/h @ 4000rpm

Not to mention if the auto-tranny's shifter is on the column, I'm reaching for the 5spd shifter in the center where there is nothing
