Ok, i have the RB header, RB presilncer, and a 2 1/2" pipe to a one wall V-force muffler and then a blaster coil to bosche spark plug in the last 3" of the pipe. The plug DOES spark, and enough to ignite hairsray sprayed into it, as well with kerosine sprayed into it. We tested my exhayust for leaks and there are none. I have no idea whats wrong. Ive tried letting it run for 5 minutes choked, and then no flame, 5 minutes no choke, no flames... what the hek is wrong! It wont flame at idle, nor at 8000, even when dropped at 8000. I cant figure it out.
If you are into the shooting flames for the sake of shooting flames business: Leave your car in gear while driving, and turn the key to the off position. Then pump the gas pedal 5 or 6 times and turn the ignition back on and pump the gas pedal one more time. Sounds like a shotgun with some nice flames to go with it. Flames get old after a while, there really is no point. With my rev limiter i can get some nice 4 ft. constant flames, I will make a vid. one of these days.
Why dont you just buy one of those kits that they have where the sole purpose is shooting flames. From what I hear they are easy to instal and you wont have to do a bunch of troubleshooting to get flames.

Flames are pointless, cause body damage (melted bumpers skins) and attract the wrong kind of attention (police that love to hand out inspection notices). You'll also burn your muffler out about 10 times faster than if your car was running properly/you had a full exhaust with presilencer.

melted bumper skins is right. mine shoots disgusting flames and now i have proof because the paint is missing above the muffler and what's left is a charred brown colour. LOL doesnt take a damn spark plug!

the flames are for show only. they are meant for old hotrods and nostalgic cars. the rotary shoots natural flames, don't encourage it.
Yeah, I shoot flames, too... not that I have actually seen them (im always the one driving my car), but the bumper is charred...
I think that if your not shooting some flames you must be running too lean.

OK OK. here it is. stock nikki. on the engine side of carb, down low, right above the intake manifold and the vacuum hoses( follow the timing advances) right below the omp lines. there are two on mine, screws. turn the bottom one counter clockwise i believe. only do it a quarter turn at a time so it won't go to far. let sit for a minute then turn some more. play with that a little. and by the way. if you would have posted this in the NW section, i'm sure somebody would come over and show you. check out the NW section anyways, we have a dinner every second monday of the month in oly.
