I can't get this off...
The smile off my face, that is...
After owning the '79 since last April (coincidentally the same time I joined the forum), I finally got it running, registered and insured three days ago.
Runs and sounds great (even w/ the Monza muffler...DOH!!), and was a total blast to fly around the country roads...albeit though without brakes. Gotta lotta 'looks' and 'waves', too.
Unfortunatley and unbeknownst to me, I was driving it w/ a fried alternator, and the battery finally died after using my stereo and headlights last night.
Just thought I'd post because I am now the proud owner and driver of a chameleon blue 1979 RX-7.
