How does the OMP work ?

Just wondering how exactly the OMP does work.

I dont belive that i am getting any oil up to the carb, so what would i be able to do, to make sure that i am. The engine only runs for about 1 mins, and then dies. I belive it is dieing because of the lack of oil to create a seal.

Pull the lines that go into the carb and see if any oil comes out while the engine is running. I think is supposed to be like 2 cc per min. Make sure while doing this you are letting oil drop in each of the primaries in the same amount.

If the engine is starting and running for a minute, you have enough seal for compression, I would be looking elsewhere, starting with fuel. You won't notice oil coming out of the mop lines with the engine only running for a minute, it needs to run longer than that to push the oil through the lines.

just disconnect OMP and run pre-mix. Its safer and less chance for error.

my car only runs for ten seconds iv traced it to a fuel pump problem later today when it hits daylight and is not raining ill hook it all up and let you know if it was my problem

did you hook up the rod that goes to the omp-carb
somehow duno when the car was runnin and i rebuit my car i cant figure why when i forgot to hook that rod up it would run for 30sec then i hooked it up and it was fine
or maybe it was just the pump playin with me
