My dad and I hit about 142-ish in my car before shutting it down. The car's doors and windows and what not were shaking and rattling quite viciously. It was pretty scary, but the car seemed planted. This was a while back, though.

only 130mph... at VIR, Mid-Ohio, and the Glen. not enough "space" to do that on the normal streets for my taste (either too much traffic, police, or not enough straight...)...

Ive hit 135 on the 60 here in Cali racing another Gsl-se going to Fontana Speedway. I couldve pushed her harder but i dont trust the other drivers on the freeway. Anything can happen, no matter how good of a driver you are.

155 mph on 270 W on the North side of Columbus.... 12a turbo with 300 horsepower, fully stripped (weighed in at 2000 lbs even). Would have gone faster but it was a tad wet out, finished lightly raining a few hours earlier. This speed was found by using the tachometer from the laptop through the haltech (dead nuts on tacho), and calculating it with the tire diameter, rear end ratio, and 5th gear ratio.

BTW, I drove a 328 GTS just like yours a few times, they are nice cars! I enjoy their balance of handling and acceleration. The transmission was in need of new syncronisers. Engine sounds sweet in those cars!

About 208 kph... So around 125. The car could do more but I was sort of running out of road.

Considering 50 over means possible loss of license there's really no way to get 'err revved up for any extended period of time. I wish Calgary had a track open to the public. We have a strip, and I do want to run that sometime next spring...

124 mph when stock in late '80's. Not much into "top speed" thinking. I do 0-60's and light to lights much more often, though.

I have done 140MPH [south boung I-5] in my S\C RX7 but I dont like to go that fast with a rear wing with all the down force on the back and N0 down force on the front it was getting real scarry as it felt like the front tires had left the ground.

I hit about 137mph I shut it down the car did feel light and I needed new brakes front and rear but aside from that I think I could have hit 140-145mph before it stoped pulling.

148 before the fuel pump ran out. Hit it like a wall too, still pulling strong. I'm estimating it'll do 165mph when I install a new carb and pump. At the time it was stuck to the road just fine, but I do have an aftermarket airdam on the front, which probably helps a good bit.

You guys want to hear something crazy that half of you won't believe? My car will do 202 mph at 8100 rpm. even better, it has enough power to get there. I'm going to install a roll cage, and talk to racing beat about what they did to their bonneville SA22C to go 186. Then, I'm going to the salt flats or a similar area to video tape the run.....
